When asked to describe The University of Texas at Austin, many use one word: BIG.
We are BIG: a campus of 350 acres, 49,000 students - including almost 12,000 graduate students - and more than 2,700 faculty. Size is also an indication of our diversity - not just in the cultural makeup of the campus - but in the depth and range of our facilities, programs, activities, and resources.
