New and Experienced Faculty and GSI Seminars

University of Texas at Austin Faculty Orientation Seminar
This four-day DIIA-sponsored seminar is an annual event for all faculty new to UT Austin. The program underscores the University's commitment to teaching excellence, and introduces newcomers to the resources and services available to support them.

Colloquium for Graduate Students
At the beginning of each academic year DIIA sponsors a colloquium for graduate students. During this one-day colloquium graduate students will build instructional skills, and new teaching assistants will be introduced to expectations for teaching at the university. Attendees also receive elective credit towards an ASPECTS certificate.

Instructional Technology Workshops, Seminars, and Online Tutorials
DIIA offers hands-on workshops, courseware tools training, and workshops and online introductory videos on technology classroom console training. Custom instruction is also available for any group of five or more, and DIIA can provide specialized training sessions for courses
